Lac de Guerledan
An 8 mile long lake just 15 minutes drive away. The rustic
landscape and forest are favourite places for walkers, ramblers,
mountain-bikers and horse-riders. The water sports centre is open all year
round with dinghies, rowing boats, pedalos and water-skiing. At the lakeside
there are outdoor cafes, a beach and crazy golf for those who may not feel
so energetic.

Forges Des Salle
A short footpath leads through the forest from the lake to the
forges-des-salles. This hamlet has been reconstructed so you can see
features of 19th-c. life with its workmen’s cottages and chateau all
furnished according to their original style.

Concarneau
An hours drive away is the prettiest walled city in Southern
Brittany. It offers a fascinating contrast of the third largest fishing port
for fresh fish and a beautiful walled city which can be reached only by a
drawbridge. A must for a visit to Brittany.
